At 6 a.m. on Sunday, more than 100 prospective patients and their families arrived at the Moore Pediatric Surgery Center. Here, in the waiting area beside the avocado tree, six-month-old Nathaly Muralles and her family, who live in Guatemala City, wait with other families prior to evaluations.
On Tuesday morning, the 15.8 lb. girl entered OR2 to undergo a cleft lip repair performed by Dr. Fred Wilder and his surgical team.
