Day 5:
To give a quick update on our little crayon eater, Jesus was able to make it into surgery yesterday and did great. He’ll be heading home today.
The team had nine surgeries on the schedule and started extra early to get them all knocked out. Everyone was prepared for what was expected to be the longest day of the trip, but we ended up flying though the operations. Today’s patients were all rockstars and in high spirits… everything went smoothly and all nine are resting comfortably in post-op.
