Alejandra is a 2026 graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Economics, minor in Finance, and certificates in Computing & Programing and Applied Statistical Modeling. She currently serves as Lead Intern – International Patient Advocate, where she supports patients and families navigating their cleft lip and palate journey. Fluent in English and Spanish, she uses her skills to bridge language and cultural gaps to help ensure each Austin Smiles family gets the care and attention they deserve. As a strong believer in healthcare access and equity, Alejandra is dedicated to removing the barriers that stand between families and the care their children need. She hopes to build a career in the nonprofit sector, using her background to help organizations like Austin Smiles create lasting change for the communities they serve.
