Disorders As a future pediatric speech-language pathologist, I am passionate about helping children with cleft palate overcome communication challenges and thrive in their daily lives. Interning at Austin Smiles deeply aligns with this goal, as the organization’s mission focuses on providing essential surgical and therapeutic care to children with cleft lip and palate. I am eager to learn from experienced professionals, contribute to a team dedicated to changing lives, and gain hands-on experience that will prepare me to support and advocate for children with craniofacial differences in my future career.
