My passion for dentistry was shaped through service and meaningful human connection, and what began as a childhood dream has only solidified throughout the years. During a dental service trip to Panama, as a member of the University of Texas Medical Training (GMT) team, I witnessed how compassionate care can restore confidence, ease fear, and build trust. I hope to reshape perceptions of dental care by ensuring every patient feels safe, understood, and valued as I serve as a Spanish medical translator with Austin Smiles and pursue a future in dentistry. I am particularly drawn to pediatric care and the opportunity to foster comfort, trust, and confidence in young patients.e access to the care they need. I am excited to contribute to such a meaningful organization that is making a difference for children and families in Central Texas and Latin America.
