San Salvador, El Salvador 2017

Feb 18 to Feb 25 — On February 18th, Austin Smiles was excited to travel back to San Salvador, El Salvador for our 45th medical mission trip to create smiles and improve lives in Latin America. With a team of approximately 45 medical and non-medical volunteers, we evaluated about 89 patients, of which we operated on 41 patients with cleft lip, cleft palate, or jaw surgery.

Our Volunteers

When professionals from across the United States join forces with a common desire to help mankind, a team is instantly created. The egos are checked-in at the door and the all-for-one spirit is unleashed. It is incredible to see how people of so many different walks of life can come together, bond, and be extraordinary.
