Austin Smile’s mission to bring surgical care to children and families, both locally and globally, truly inspired me, and I knew I wanted to be a part of their work. With personal ties to Latin America, I’ve seen firsthand how transformative these procedures can be for children, families, and entire communities. As a future healthcare professional, I am eager to deepen my understanding of the needs of the diverse patient population and how healthcare providers can best support them. I am excited by the opportunity to grow my passion and fluency for health equity alongside AustinSmiles, while giving back in a way that lasts a lifetime.
